Berger Company is a fourth generation, family-owned leather and textiles business based in Atchison, Kansas. Since our founding in 1908, Berger Company has provided quality leather products and excellent customer service at competitive prices.

Where We Were

In our earliest years, leading up to the time when Henry Ford first rolled out his Model T automobile, the Berger Company produced team harnesses, bridles, halters, horse collars and a variety of leather cut parts. Over the years as leather needs changed, Berger Company adapted to meet market demands. 

Where We Are

Today, Berger Company is a 4th generation leather and textiles manufacturing and distribution company. Our global manufacturing divisions provide quality leather knife sheaths to producers of knives, axes and other equipment and tools, as well as manufactured leather products and textiles.

Our legacy in leather manufacturing speaks for itself. Our R&D capabilities are continually expanding. If you have an idea or dream for a product, don’t hesitate to ask.
